| 15 years ago, Alameda Advertising & Recognition,
Inc. began as Alameda Awards. Operating out of a garage, the
company made history by providing the city of Alameda with a
much-needed source of trophies and plaques for its many schools,
leagues and business associations. The business grew steadily
as Alamedans were happy to support a local business, rather
than go off-island for their awards.
The transition to providing corporate promotions developed gradually, but
naturally, out of the company's success and its openness to new ideas and
avenues to meet its customers' needs.
Now specializing in corporate identity, marketing and recognition,
Alameda Advertising & Recognition, Inc. provides customized
corporate apparel and promotional products, as well as high-quality
custom plaques and awards. Although Alameda Advertising &
Recognition, Inc. remains Alameda-owned and operated by its
original management and staff, its client base has grown across
the Bay Area, across the country, and across the ocean.
The company's CEO and President is David McCarver. The CFO
and General Manager is Dennis Jameson.
